Mother of Three Sons – Even Though Doctors Said It Was Impossible

Mother of three sons – even though doctors said it was impossible.

I was in my early 20s, sitting in my gynecologist’s office, when I was hit with one diagnosis after another: PCOS, excess male hormones, and later, a prolactinoma (a benign tumor on the pituitary gland). The prognosis was crystal clear and unforgiving: “Getting pregnant will not be possible for you without medical intervention.”

Bam. That sentence stung.

And as if that weren’t enough, it was immediately followed by a second one: “Go back on the pill. Otherwise, your ovaries will wither, and it will be even harder to get pregnant if you ever want to.”

What deeply concerns and honestly angers me to this day is that in modern medicine, it hardly matters what symptoms or diagnoses you have. The answer is almost always the same.

Blemish-prone skin. Acne. PMS. PCOS. Amenorrhea (loss of period). A prolactinoma. High testosterone. Heavy bleeding. Painful periods. Endometriosis. Fibroids. Cysts. Irregular cycles. Mood swings. Loss of libido. Cycle-related migraines.

The solution? The pill. Always the pill.

I had been prescribed the pill myself at just 14 years old, for skin breakouts, like so many of us. When I went off it in my early 20s, absolutely nothing happened. No period. No bleeding. No cycle. I felt terrible. Not fully a woman. Disconnected from something I couldn’t even put into words at the time. I tried everything: homeopathy, TCM, acupuncture, dietary changes, daily yoga, regular meditation. My period still didn’t return.

Today, I am the mother of three wonderful boys. Completely without artificial hormones.

What Most Women Don’t Know: Pill Bleeding Is Not a Real Period
#

This is the first thing I want to tell you today, because nobody told me in that doctor’s office: The bleeding you experience during the pill-free week is not a real menstruation. It is merely an artificially induced withdrawal bleeding.

The pill does not regulate your hormones, it completely shuts down your body’s own production. Your ovaries are put into a deep sleep. No natural ovulation, no progesterone of your own, no estrogen of your own. Instead, day after day, you take synthetic steroid replacement hormones.

When you stop taking the pill and your period doesn’t show up, it doesn’t mean your body is broken. It simply means it has forgotten how to communicate in its own natural rhythm. And that makes a massive psychological difference in how you trust yourself.

My Way Back into My Own Power
#

I spent a year trying everything natural medicine had to offer, and yet my period still didn’t come. The real turning point only came when I stopped treating my own body like a faulty construction site.

I began to dig deeper and ask myself: What actually makes me a woman? Am I only feminine if I bleed, wear skirts, and fit a certain image? I realized it had nothing to do with that. It was about connecting with the full spectrum of my emotions, without any ifs or buts.

I finally allowed myself to be angry when I felt anger. I learned to set crystal-clear boundaries when I needed space. I allowed myself to feel everything that wanted to be felt, instead of making myself small or hiding.

Through this deep inner work, releasing old belief systems, regular fertility massages, and a spagyric hormone blend, what the doctors thought was impossible happened: After six years, my period returned all on its own. Completely without chemicals, without prolactin inhibitors.

When Mirco and I decided we wanted children, I got pregnant right away. Yes, we also had to walk through the deep pain of a miscarriage in the eighth week of pregnancy. But my body had understood that it could do it. With the following pregnancies, it wasn’t a problem at all. Three sons. All without medical intervention.

What Can Help You on Your Path
#

Every body is unique, and I am not a doctor. What I am sharing with you here comes from my own experience and from years of intensive work with women. If you wish to get pregnant, or simply want to bring your cycle back into its natural balance, these are the three pillars that changed my foundation:

1. A Gentle Morning Routine

How you start your day heavily influences your entire nervous and hormonal system. Skip the coffee on an empty stomach and try taking 20 to 30 minutes for yourself in the morning instead:

  • Tongue scraping and teeth brushing: to directly remove the toxins your body released overnight
  • Warm lemon or ginger water: this stimulates detoxification and balances your acid-base levels
  • Gentle movement: a few sun salutations and a short meditation to anchor yourself in your body
  • Warm breakfast: millet or oatmeal porridge with cinnamon and nuts warms your womb from the inside out

2. The Wisdom of Your Womb

Your uterus is so much more than just a physical organ. It is an energetic storehouse and often carries the untold stories, fears, or traumas of your mothers and grandmothers. Ask yourself consciously: How did my mother live her femininity? What was I taught about my body? Energetically illuminating these ancestral lineages can release blockages that no supplement in the world can reach.

3. Natural Medicine as a Gentle Impulse

Fertility massages are a wonderful tool: they promote blood circulation to the pelvic organs and help your system transition from stress mode into deep relaxation and opening. Spagyric essences can also gently nudge your hormones to return to self-regulation. Most importantly: find someone to guide you who sees you as a whole human being, not just as a walking diagnosis.

Your Diagnosis Is a Snapshot, Not a Life Sentence
#

Please don’t let them scare you in the doctor’s office. I am not saying you should ignore medical diagnoses. But I am saying they never have to have the final word over you and your life.

Mind over matter. Trust your gut. Your intuition. And the endless, deep wisdom of your body. You already carry the creative power within you. You just have to remember it.
